Using the SignPilot app
Face ID, the document camera, reminders and Home Screen actions are iPhone features.
What is on each tab?
Today: the signing-day summary, order follow-ups to answer, today's signings, what is coming up and anything that needs attention.
Orders: your active and completed assignments. Open one for its Overview, Documents, Shipping and Comms.
Journal: entries waiting to sync from this iPhone, entries pending review and finalized entries.
Invoices: open and paid invoices. Tap one to mark it sent, log a reminder you sent, record a payment or write it off.

How do I add an assignment?
Orders → + Add. Tap “Scan the confirmation” to photograph it with the document camera, or fill in the form yourself.
You can also open a PDF confirmation in SignPilot from another app: in Files, tap Share and choose SignPilot.
Before the first confirmation is read, SignPilot asks whether it may send the file to Anthropic's Claude AI model. “Enter it myself instead” sends nothing. You review every field before the assignment is saved.
How do I scan scanbacks?
Open the order → Documents → Scan completed package. Check each page (turn, remove, reorder or add pages), then attach one PDF.
With no signal, the PDF waits on this iPhone and uploads when you are back online; More shows scans waiting to upload.
From the Home Screen, touch and hold SignPilot and choose Scan Scanbacks.
How does the journal work on iPhone?
With a device passcode set, + Entry records the entry on this iPhone first, stores it with iOS data protection and opens it with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. It syncs to your online journal, which assigns the official sequential number. Without a passcode, entries save straight to your online journal.
The journal locks again after 5 minutes in the background. Finalized entries never change; corrections are added as amendments. ID numbers are never stored, only the ID type.
What reminders does SignPilot set?
Tap Remind me on an order, or turn on More → Signing-day reminders for every upcoming signing. SignPilot schedules them on this iPhone: confirm the signer (the evening before, if they have not confirmed), 15 minutes before the appointment with the address, a check-in with the signing company 75 minutes after the start, and 30 minutes before the scanback deadline when there is one.
Reminders have Directions and Call Signer buttons. On an order, Directions opens Apple Maps and Share sends the appointment as a calendar file (.ics).
Does SignPilot send invoice reminders for me?
No. SignPilot does not contact signing companies. Send your reminder by email or phone, then tap Log reminder sent so the invoice shows when you last followed up.
How do I stop sending confirmations to AI?
More → Stop sending confirmations to AI. SignPilot then asks again before reading a confirmation.
How do I delete my account?
More → Delete account. To keep a copy of your records, tap Export my data there first: every record in your account is saved as one file through the share sheet. Then type DELETE and confirm (with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode when your iPhone has one). SignPilot deletes your account and its records, then clears this iPhone: journal entries and scans that have not synced, reminders, and the saved sign-in.
What happens when I sign out?
More → Sign out. Journal entries that have not synced stay on this iPhone and sync when you sign back in.
